The Thomas Merton Center is a day shelter that provides breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday to local residents in need. They also provide showers, clean clothing, support groups and a food pantry. They would like 3 mother/daughter teams to assist in making sandwiches (turkey and/or peanut butter and jelly). All food is provided by the center. They feed about 250 people each day. Saturdays are not a day that servers are needed. The Thomas Merton staff starts passing out bagged lunches at 10:30. Moms and daughters are only needed until 10:00.
Dates: Saturdays, March 30th and June 29th
