SASO Boys Receives Compassion in Action Award
Congratulations to the SASO Boys organization for being honored at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s Restore Hope Banquet on Thursday October 5, 2017 at the Stamford Crown Plaza. The SASO Boys organization was awarded the Compassion in Action Award for their outstanding service work in 2016-2017 for the BRM. BRM honors one community organization each year that consistently demonstrates these exemplary characteristics:
• Willing to put hands and feet to work to serve the hungry, homeless and addicted.
• Advocates publicly for the poor and downtrodden of coastal Fairfield County.
• Commits financial or material resources to make a significant impact.
